Are there any good books, dvds or sites on playing fixed limit poker?

Especially concerning fixed limit texas hold em. My friends are into poker, but they're conservative, so we usually play fixed limit. My speciality is no limit, I like the strategy that comes with mixing up what kind of bets you can make, but in fixed limit, that strategy that minimized, as it essentially comes to bet/raise, call or fold. Are there any books, dvds or sites that take about fixed limit playing strategy?

It depends if you are going to play online, casino or home.

Dave Sklansky does some good books on both No Limit and Limit poker, I can't remember which one exactly sorry but its either The theory of Poker or Tournament Poker for Advanced Players as they are the only two I've read of his.

Doyle Brunson's book super system is also a good book but doesn't get into limit Poker if I remember correctly. Hope this helps.

I would lkike to second Matts suggestion of the Sklansky books. More specifically "The Theory of Poker" by David Sklansky. It's a very good book and is ideal for the novice player trying to improve his/her game.

It covers topics such as bluffing/semi-Bluffing, the value of deception, the free card, slowplaying, positional play, reading hands and more. It's cetainly the book I always recomemnd when people ask me about poker books.

Amazon has those "best" lists that customers put together, and they have
one on "All-Time Best Poker Books" that may be worth checking out.

I really enjoyed reading Doyle Brunson's most famous book. Merely for its entertainment. The Theory of Poker is definitely the best book for educational values, however. I'd recommend that book as Karl has mentioned.

I heard that Daniel Negreanu's Power Holdem Strategy book is very helpful in playing the fixed limit poker game.But i think no limit game is attractive than fixed limit poker.
