Research on the Hold 'em Odds

Thank you all. Being new at this you all have gave me a lot to do today.

There are some good tips here but I agree that nothing can beat actually playing a lot and figuring out more of the intuitive parts of the game on your own rather than consulting odds too heavily.

Just the same, these techniques would be invaluable to have on the page as a reference source for advanced players and newbies looking for some guidelines.

Theory and practice should go hand in hand just like intuition and experience are both attributes of good poker players.

I would have to agree with most here, that it is a game hard to calculate. Unless of course you are a math wiz. (Which I am not.)
