A poker tell is a sign or an implication that connotes some information regarding a players hands. Poker tells are very useful in making decisions regarding your hand. Even though poker tells are not a hundred percent accurate they always come handy in any poker game. Most decisions on a poker game come from good guesses. A poker tell gives you some added points in making good guesses.

 

There are great differences between online poker tells and offline poker tells. When playing poker on a real table you usually try to see your opponent’s reactions, facial expressions and mannerisms to catch poker tell. But since playing online does not enable you to see your opponent’s reaction you need to focus on other things.
