WINNABILITY OF POKER HANDS

Winning in poker is not as simple as getting the best hand, although that’s how it is during the final showdown of no holdem.  You must understand that with each kind of poker and players you get to play with in a table will kind of skew the results for you in more ways than one.  There are some instances when the logical move will not give you the desired response from other opponents so you should have enough tricks up your sleeve too especially if it’s a limit holdem.

Playing Differently

Poker is not won from utilizing a flop the best hand rule.  There would be times when you must win pots without any pairs or from marginal bets when you actually have the best of the lot regardless how weak the best of it might actually be.  Winning also comes from playing big hands that can help you get to win as well as decent hands that would help hold your opponents off to win it.  So you see, there’s not a single way of winning pots in poker.

If you have two hands that have a 24% odd of making you win versus four other opponents, you will need to play them differently.  If things are favoring you, you must try to get that money in.  When you’re offered silver instead of gold, you should start taking it instead of getting nothing towards the end.

Limit Poker

Not raising pre-flops win AQ in limit holdems is considered by some players as not as helpful in helping to cut down on the number of players.  This shows rigidity of poker strategies and inadequacy of knowledge on how to play in limit holdems.  This line of thinking may spell a player’s loss in such games because they have exhibited a limit in their flexibility when it comes to playing this kind of poker.

AQ is fairly understood as a good hand which earns their value mainly before a flop.  If you have opponents who tend to play randomly and more inclined to speculating hands, it is definitely not a wise move to let them play as such for just a single bet instead of two.  So you would rather have two bets so that after the flop and at other times, their speculative hands will miss.

Limit poker is not just about leading to win.  Sometimes you will find the second player to have turned out to have had a profitable night than the leading player.
